Affen Border Terrier History
The Border Terrier is a medium-sized terrier with a wiry, rough coat. The origins of this rugged little dog remain somewhat of a mystery. The likeliest theory is that it originated in the border regions of the British Isles. The first recorded mention of the name “Border Terrier” appeared in 1888, when Mr. Robert Burns, a Scottish breeder, published a standard for the dog. The FCI standard for the Border Terrier was not published until 1936. The Kennel Club Standard for the Border Terrier was approved in June 2004, and the revised FCI Standard for the Border Terrier was published in 2008. The 2011 FSS Standard for the Border Terrier was published in the Journal of the FSS in 2012.

They are also intelligent and energetic, which means they require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. They can be willful and stubborn at times, but are overall obedient dogs.
Affen Border Terrier Activity Requirements
The Affen Border Terrier is a small terrier that originated in Holland. They are an energetic, intelligent, and fun-loving dog that loves playing and doing tricks. While they are very active, Affens do not require a lot of time spent exercising. An hour or so a day should be plenty for a healthy adult. Because Affens are active and intelligent, they get bored easily. They are best suited to owners who are willing to play with them regularly and provide mental stimulation. If you are looking for a fun, playful companion, an Affen might be an ideal choice.
