American Bull-Jack History
The American Bull-Jack is a lesser-known hybrid, or designer, dog breed that was developed by crossing an American Bulldog with a Jack Russell Terrier. The popularity of the bully breeds in America has waned in recent years, but they are still widely used as guard dogs and fighting dogs. The popularity of the terrier breeds has soared, however, and has led to the development of new crossbreeds and hybrids such as the Bull-Jack.

American Bull-Jack Activity Requirements
The American Bull-Jack, also known as the AB-JC, is a medium-sized dog that originally hails from Jamaica. This athletic dog was often used to hunt boar, and today, he is still a popular hunting and guard dog. Like many hunting breeds, the American Bull-Jack is a high-energy, athletic dog. He needs regular exercise and mental stimulation in order to be happy. A daily walk or jog will help keep him healthy and fit, and if you have space, letting him run around in a fenced-in yard or dog park will keep him happy. Since the American-Bull-Jack is an active, high-energy dog, he may not be a good fit for everyone. If you have an active lifestyle, the AB-JC may be a good match for you. He will also need plenty of socialization and companionship, so he will work best in a home where he will get regular interaction with people and other pets.
