American Eagle Dog History
The American Eagle Dog is a very rare hybrid or designer dog that was created in the 1990s by breeding a German Shepherd with a Standard Poodle. The Amercian Eagle Dog is a dog that is built like an American Pit Bull Terrier, but with a coat like a Cocker Spaniel. The Amercian Eagle Dog was the creation of the American Kennel Club, which intended the breed to be a new, healthier version of the American Pit Bull Terrier. However, the Amercian Eagle Dog was controversial when it was created, and there are to this day various disputes about the health and well-being of this type of animal.

The American Eagle Dog is a medium to large breed of domestic dog. They are descended from English Fox-Hounds, Bloodhounds, Salukis and Beagles. They have a tall, muscular, powerful build with an elongated muzzle. The dogs have dark brown to reddish-brown coats with white markings on their chests, paws, and head. They have large, expressive eyes, long, feathered ears and a bushy tail. The breed is intelligent, affectionate, athletic and sociable.
