Baskimo History
The Baskimo is a newer breed of cat that was developed by a breeder named George F. Ware. The Baskimo’s development was spurred on by a desire to produce a cat that resembled a “lion” in appearance. The Baskimo’s development was spurred on by a desire to produce a cat that resembled a “lion” in appearance. Ware held the belief that a lion-like cat would have greater appeal among show-goers than other cats. The Baskimo, also known as a “Siamese Lion Cat”, is a larger version of the traditional Siamese, with a longer body, larger paws, and a stronger build. The Siamese Lion is a muscular, athletic-looking, and majestic looking cat. The head shape is similar to that of a Siamese, but the body is longer and more massive. The name “Baskimo”, meaning “mountain lion”, reflects the physical resemblance of the Baskimo to its namesake animal.

Baskimo Temperament and Behaviour
The Baskimo is a confident, friendly, and intelligent dog breed. They are quick to learn new things and love to play. They are also very affectionate with their family and friends.
Baskimo Activity Requirements
The Baskimo is a fairly new breed of dog that is a cross between a Border Collie and a Siberian Husky. They were created by a breeder who wanted a versatile, athletic dog. While they are not a high-energy type of dog, the Baskimo still requires regular exercise. A daily, brisk walk or some outdoor play time is ideal. If your Baskimo doesn’t get enough exercise, they could become destructive. Baskinins are smart, intelligent, and athletic, so they do best with owners who are willing to train them and spend time exercising them. This is not a breed that will be happy spending the day lounging on the couch.
