Bulldog Schnauzer History
The Bulldog Schnauzer is a breed of medium-sized working terrier developed during the mid-to-late 1920s in the Germany. The Bulldog and Schnauzer were crossed with no particular goal in mind, but the resulting puppies were deemed to have desirable traits. The first generation was thus used for breeding, and by the 1930s, the Bulldog Schnauzer was recognized as a distinct mixed-breed.

The Bulldog Schnauzer is a small-to-medium-sized, mixed-breed dog. They stand between 12 and 16.5 inches tall at the shoulder and they weigh between 25 and 51.5 pounds. They have a rectangular-shaped head with flat cheeks, a wrinkled muzzle, and round eyes that slant downward. Their ears are set low on the sides of their head and they have a straight nose. Their neck is long and they have a slightly sloping back. They have short fur that is white, brindle, fawn, or a mix of these colors. The skin on their body is loose and wrinkles over their face.
