Chatterdale History
The Chatterdale is a medium-sized breed of long haired cat that originated in the Auvergne region of central France. The origin of the name “Chatterdale” is unknown. The Chatterdale is a descendant of the Siamese and Burmese. The Breed is medium in size and has medium to long, silky hair which flows freely. The coat can be any colour – blue, chocolate, lilac, fawn, seal, platinum, tabby or tortoiseshell. The eyes are oval, wide apart and luminous. The ears are medium sized and upright. The legs are moderately long and slender. The tail is medium in length, tapering gradually from the base to the tip.
Chatterdale Physical Characteristics
The Cocker Spaniel is a medium-size breed of dog that traditionally stood between 15 and 17.5 inches (38 and 44 cm) at the withers and weighed between 12 and 17.5 lb (5.5 and 8.5 kg), though weight is influenced by country of origin and sex. They have a strong, well-muscled body and short, glossy, flat or wavy, water-resistant coat. The Cocker has a compact, well-balanced appearance. Their tail is carried moderately high and their gait is springy and free. The breed comes in three varieties, the English Cocker Spaniel, the American Cocker Spaniel, and the Spanish Water Dog.

The Chatterdale is a playful, lively and energetic breed of small terrier. They are intelligent and eager to learn, and excel at learning new tricks. They are agile and athletic, and are very playful. They are confident and brave, and make good watchdogs. They are good with older children, and can get along with other animals if they are properly socialized.
Chatterdale Activity Requirements
Chatterdales are a mix between a Chihuahua and a Brussels Griffon. They are a small, active and alert dog that is perfect for apartment life. They love to cuddle and can be very loyal to their families. A daily walk or outdoor game will keep your Chatterdale happy and healthy. While they do not need a lot of space, they do like to spend time outside exploring and sniffing. A moderate level of activity is ideal for this affectionate and loyal little dog. They will be happy as long as they have regular interaction with their loved ones.
