The first documented evidence of the breeding of these two breeds comes from 1891, when a breeder named James Spratt crossed a Chihuahua with a Maltese. The Chihuahua is a playful, loving and curious little dog. They are outgoing and sociable with humans and other dogs and animals. However, they can also be very protective of their owners, which can make chihuahuas aggressive towards other people and dogs.

Chimo Activity Requirements

Chihuahuas are a small, compact dog that is known for its loyalty and cheerful disposition. They are a hardy, healthy, and active little dog that loves to spend time with their owners. Chihuahuas do best in homes with yards or who live close to parks or walking trails. They are small, but they have a lot of energy, and they love to play and run. A daily walk will help to keep your Chihuahua happy, healthy, and out of trouble. While all dogs benefit from regular exercise, a chihuahua will benefit from regular walks or runs even more than the average dog. They are escape artists with tiny legs, so they need a level of supervision that many other breeds do not. A daily walk or jog will help you stay one step ahead of them.
