Cosheltie Temperament and Behaviour

The Coshette is a capable, sturdy, and hard-working breed of dog. They are cheerful, active, and good-natured, and can usually be found standing on their hind legs, begging for attention. They are highly intelligent and are easy to train. They do best with an active owner who can give them plenty of time outdoors.

Cosheltie Activity Requirements

The Scottish Collie is a popular herding dog that originated on the Isle of Skye. They are intelligent, loyal, and sensitive. While they are not a high energy dog, they do require regular exercise to maintain their health and happiness. They are best suited to homes with a fenced-in backyard where they can spend time with you. A 30-45 minute walk each day, combined with some playtime in the yard, is the perfect amount to keep a Scottish Collie happy. While they do love to be with their family, they also like to be alone at times. This is not a high-energy dog, but they do crave human contact.
