Dalmadoodle History
The Dalmadoodle is a more recent hybrid or Designer dog that combines the temperament and intelligence of the Poodle with the hypoallergenic properties of the Labrador Retriever. The hybrid Dalmadoodle is a cross between the Labradoodle and the Standard or Miniature Poodle. The gene pool used to create a Dalmadoodle comes from crosses between the AKC registered Labradoodle and the Standard or Miniature Poodle. The breeding of related dogs such as the Doodle, Bichon Frise, and Cavachon is a common practice among breeders who want to create similar looking or behaving puppies. However, the Dalmadoodle is not recognized by the American Kennel Club.

Dalmadoodle Temperament and Behaviour
The Dalmadoodle is a very intelligent and active breed that makes a great companion. They are calm, relaxed and gentle, and get along well with children and other pets. They are playful and obedient, but can sometimes be stubborn. They are highly trainable and excel at sports like agility and obedience.
Dalmadoodle Activity Requirements
The Labradoodle is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. They have become increasingly popular in recent years, thanks to their friendly, outgoing personality. The Labradoodle is an adaptable, intelligent dog that does well with a variety of lifestyles. They do, however, require regular physical exercise and mental stimulation. Daily walks or a game of fetch are both great ways to give your Labradoodle the exercise and enrichment they need. While they can be good with older children, the Labradoodle can be a sensitive breed. They are generally better suited to homes with older children who understand how to treat and respect dogs.
