English Cotralian History
The English Cocker Spaniel is a breed of spaniel that has its origins in England. The name ‘Cocker’ probably comes from cocking or pointing, two bird-hunting techniques originally used with this breed. The English Cocker Spaniel has successfully been developed as a show, obedience, and gundog. The history of the origin is somewhat unclear. The Spaniel ancestors and ‘fowling’ dogs (dogs used to hunt small game) were known in Europe during the Middle Ages, but they were not specifically designated as such. Most commonly, the English Cocker was referred to as the Springer Spaniel. In 1859, the first written standard was written for the English Cocker.

English Cotralian Activity Requirements
The English Coonhound is a medium-sized, short-haired hound that originated in America. They are primarily hunting dogs, but they also make excellent pets. As hunters, the English Coonhound requires a great deal of exercise and a high level of energy. They need long, brisk walks or runs, and they will thrive with a job that involves some sort of physical exertion. While they require a lot of exercise, English Coonhounds are relatively quiet. They do have a short, smooth coat and are fairly clean. They are generally good with children and other pets, but they can be stubborn and willful.
