English Mastahoula Temperament and Behaviour
English Mastiffs are protective, courageous, and sociable. They are easy to train, and typically do well in obedience and agility competitions. They are calm, laid-back, and easygoing, but are also very loyal to their owners and make an excellent guard dog. They get along well with other household animals and can be trained to live with small dogs and cats.
English Mastahoula Activity Requirements
English Mastiffs have a regal, dignified look about them that many people find appealing. They are large, muscular, and powerful, but their gentle temperament makes them good family companions. Because of their size, English Mastiffs do require regular exercise. A long, brisk walk or jog is recommended. They will also need time to run and play in an enclosed area. However, they are a very gentle, easygoing dog. If you are looking for a big, but gentle, companion, an English Mastiff could be perfect for you. They are a low-energy dog, but they do require a lot of space. If you have a big yard, a backyard, or live in an apartment, an England Mastiff may be the right dog for you.
