Jack-Rat Terrier Activity Requirements
The Jack-Rat Terrier is a happy, spunky little dog who is always ready for an adventure. This intelligent and loyal little dog is happiest when he is with his people. While they are not the most active of breeds, Jack-Rat Terriers do need regular exercise in order to be happy, healthy, and well-adjusted. Daily walks and playtime are a good way to make sure your JRT is getting the physical and mental stimulation they need. While they do need regular exercise, Jack-Rat Terriers are also fairly low-energy. They are happy to spend time indoors with their family, playing with toys or snuggling on the couch. If you are looking for a high-energy pup, a Jack-Rat Terrier may not be right for you. However, if you are looking for a sweet, loving companion, this intelligent and loyal little dog may be a perfect fit.
