Jatese History
The Jatese is a spitz-type hybrid dog developed by the American Kennel Club (AKC) by combining the Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky, Samoyed, and Chow Chow. The AKC first recognized the Jute in 2006, and in 2009 it provisionally accepted their standard. The name is a blend of the Inuit word jatta (dog) and “Eskimo”. The FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale, the World Canine Organization) considers the Jute to be a crossbreed. The Jute is a medium-sized working and herding dog.

Jatese Temperament and Behaviour
The Jatese is a brave and fearless, yet also gentle and devoted, breed of dog. They are highly sociable and get along well with people of all ages and backgrounds. They are protective of their owners and make excellent guard dogs, as they are wary of strangers. They also require regular, daily exercise and mental stimulation.
Jatese Activity Requirements
Jatese dogs are a hybrid of two purebred breeds, the Siberian Husky and the German Shepherd. They are medium-sized, intelligent, and loyal. While the Jatese is an energetic, athletic dog, they are quite happy to sit on the couch and relax. This makes them suited to families that spend a lot of time at home, but who also like to exercise. They are well-suited to both indoor and outdoor living. A daily walk or jog, or a trip to the dog park, will keep a Jatese happy. They also enjoy activities like hiking or running. If you plan to incorporate more vigorous forms of exercise into your routine, a Jatese may not be the breed for you.
