Mini Wire Hair Snauzer History
The Miniature Wirehaired Schnauzer is a breed of small wire-haired schnauzer developed after World War II as a smaller version of the standard-sized Schnauzer. The Miniature Wirehaired Schnauzer is a fairly new breed of schnauzer, with the first litter born in Europe in 1969. The Miniature Wiredhaired Schnauzer was recognized as a purebred by the American Kennel Club in 1992.

Their long, wiry coats are of medium length, with harsh, stiff and straight outer guard hairs and a soft, thick undercoat.
