Miniature Border Schnollie Temperament and Behaviour

The Miniature Border Schnauzer is a high energy and highly intelligent dog that is loving, brave, and protective of his family. They are often distrustful of strangers and may be aggressive towards strange dogs and animals. They require daily mental and physical exercise and stimulation. Training is recommended.

Miniature Border Schnollie Activity Requirements

Miniature Schnauzers were bred to be ratters, so they do require a fair amount of activity and mental stimulation. While they should be walked every day, they should not be expected to go jogging with you. A daily walk or jog will keep a Miniature Schnauzer happy, healthy, and out of trouble, but they can also be satisfied with play time in the yard. It’s important to remember that just like humans, all dogs are different. Some need more exercise than others. A bored or under-exercised Mini Schnauzer may dig or chew in order to get some attention. If your Mini has a lot of energy, consider taking them to dog park where they can run around and play with other dogs.
