The Mini. schnauzer is a very intelligent, loyal, and playful dog. They get along great with children, and are friendly toward strangers. They enjoy being outside, and are good watchdogs. They can sometimes be stubborn, so training is important.

They enjoy being with their families, and like to stay close. They are protective and watchful of their families, and will even bark to alert them of danger.

The Miniature Schnauzer and Standard Schnauzer are related breeds that share similar traits and physical characteristics. The Mini is a smaller, more compact version of the Standard.
