Patterland History

The Patterdale Terrier is a Scottish terrier or West Highland White Terrier that was created as a result of crossing the Patterdale Terrier with a Sealyham Terrier. The Pennine Heeler is a working cattle and sheepdog that originated in the Pennine hills of Yorkshire, England. The Pennine Heeler developed from crosses between herding dogs including the Scottish Collie, the Old English Sheepdog, the Border Collie, the Welsh Corgi, the Great Pyrenees, and the Boxer.

They are a well balanced, strong, hardy, versatile, and agile dog, with a pleasing appearance. Their size, weight, strength, and agility make them suitable for a variety of tasks, including guarding, hunting, or retrieving.
