Prazsky Krysarik Physical Characteristics

The Prazsky Krysarik is a dog of medium size, of robust build, of good proportions, of strong bones. The height at the withers is 68 to 71 cm, the weight 35 to 40 kg (males), 30 to 37 kg (females). The head is massive, broad, and flat, with strong jaws. The skull is barely broader than the dog’s muzzle, and almost of equal length, forming a knife-like wedge. The ears are very large, pendant, set high on the head, and folding forward. The nose is large and black. The neck is arched, deep, slightly arched, and muscular. The back is straight or slightly convex, firm and muscular. The loin is short, wide and muscular. The croup is gently sloping, moderately long, and slightly inclined. The tail is set on rather low, is thick, strong and curved, sometimes with a slight kink. The paws are cat-like and with a large, thick, well-arched, tight, and short, well-knit, hard pad. The hair may be short, rough, or long, but never curly. The undercoat is dense and woolly. The skin is thick and elastic. The colors are fawn, white, or gray (tricolor).

The Pražský Kryšařík is a very intelligent, loyal, and devoted breed of dog. They are extremely devoted to their owner and will do whatever it takes to protect them. The breed is known for their high energy level and intelligence, which make them excellent working dogs. They excel in such areas as tracking, retrieving, and guarding. The breed is very active and needs plenty of exercise and stimulation to be happy.

The Prazsky Krysarik, also known as a Puli, is a Hungarian herding and guarding dog. They are fierce guard dogs, but are also loving family pets. They require a lot of attention and affection, but their high energy level makes them well-suited for an active lifestyle. Most Pulis are high-energy, intelligent dogs that need lots of exercise and mental stimulation. They need at least one hour a day of exercise, broken up into several shorter sessions. They are very active and love to be outdoors. They are not recommended for novice owners. While they are friendly, they can be a challenge to train. They can be difficult to housebreak. They can be aggressive with other dogs and strangers. They make excellent guard dogs and can be wary of strangers.
