Ratshi Terrier History
The Ratshi Terrier is a medium-sized terrier originating from China. The Ratshi was recognized by the United Kennel Club in 2013. The Ratshi is thought to have been developed as a fighting dog in the late Qing Dynasty (1644–1911), by crossing the standard Pekingese with an English Bulldog. The Ratshi was brought to the US in the 1900s, and was used for ratting. The popularity of the Ratshi waned, and it is now rarely found outside its native China.
