Rottie Bordeaux History
The Rottweiler (Latin: rottērus), also known as the Rotweiller, is a German breed of medium to large-sized working dog that was used as a herding and guard dog. The Rottweiler is descended from the Molosser-type dogs and is believed to be one of the oldest European herding breeds. The modern Rottweiler is a medium-size, solidly built, strongly muscled, square-proportioned, short-muzzled, black and tan or mahogany red, with two clearly defined colors. The Rottweiler is distinguished from other canines by its distinctive tail structure, the pendulous, or “bell”, tail that curls uniformly over the back. The head is in proportion to the size of the body. The muzzle is deep and well filled out, with black lips. The eyes are small and dark, with a calm expression. The ears are medium-sized, triangular in shape, set high on the head and tipped with black. The neck is thick, strong and muscular. The chest is deep, wide and moderately broad. The forequarters are powerful, with straight, parallel bone structures. The shoulders are strong and sloping. The elbows are close to being perpendicular to the body. The forelegs are straight and parallel to each other. The feet are round and compact. The hind legs are long, sturdy and muscular, with well-arched, tight, strong joints. The hock joint is strong and close to the ground. The tail is thick at the base, tapering to a point. It is carried low

Rottie Bordeaux Temperament and Behaviour
The Rottweiler Bordeaux is an energetic, playful, and fearless breed of dog. They are loyal to their owners and are protective of them and their property. They are often aggressive towards other animals and humans, and require a well-disciplined owner to train them properly. They are especially fond of children, and can be gentle with them, but should still be supervised around younger children.
Rottie Bordeaux Activity Requirements
Rottweilers are large, powerful, and athletic. They require regular exercise in order to stay healthy and happy. While they are an extremely intelligent and active dog, their short coats make them a poor choice for working or hunting. Rottweilers do best in households where they are given plenty of exercise and attention. They are best suited to an active lifestyle with a fenced yard where they can run and stretch their legs. While a Rottweiler may not be the best choice for a home with small children, they are generally good with other household pets. However, consistent training and socialization are extremely important for this breed.
