The Sprocker Spaniel is a sporting gundog that was developed by crossing the English Springer Spaniel with the Cocker Spaniel. Sprocker Spaniel Physical Characteristics
The Springer Spaniel is a medium-sized, long-legged breed of gundog. The breed comes in two varieties: Field and Show. They are happy, energetic, and friendly dogs. They have a medium length, silky, flat or wavy, feathered or soft, water-repellent, single layer, close fitting and weatherproof outercoat and a soft, thick undercoat. They have a slightly arched neck and a compact, wedge-shaped head. Their nose is usually dark colored and their lips are thin and tight. Their ears are triangular in shape, pendant, and either rose or button shaped. They have a straight, strong, and muscular back, and a medium length, well-angulated, well-set-up, and perfectly straight, front legs. They have feathered, round-tipped, and heavily fringed tail. Their feet are large, flat, and broad with well-arched toes. The Field variety has a heavier and longer coat than the Show variety and has a more rectangular build. The Show variety has a leaner, more agile shape.
