Standard Auss-Tzu History
The Standard Auss-Tzu is a fairly new hybrid, or designer, breed that was developed by crossing the American Staffordshire Terrier and the Shih Tzu. The Standard Auss-Tzu is a medium-sized hybrid, or designer, breed of dog that was developed in the 1990s. The Standard Auss-Tzu is the result of breeding two very popular, but very different, purebred dogs together. The breeders of the American Staffordshire Terrier and the Shih Tzu generally do not approve of the hybridization of their breeds, and therefore the Standard Auss-Tzu is not officially recognized by either the American Kennel Club (AKC) or the Designer Breed Registry.

The Standard Auss-Tzu is a small, compact dog that originated in Japan. They are often compared to cats, due to their independent nature. This breed is intelligent, gentle, and easygoing. The Standard Auss-Tzu is a compact, short-coated dog, but they are fairly active and will need regular exercise. This doesn’t mean they need a lot of room to run, but they will benefit from having a fenced yard. They will need to go out for walks or to play in the yard on a regular basis. The Standard Auss-Tzu makes a good pet for apartment dwellers. They are small and don’t require a lot of space. They are also quiet, making them a good choice for people who prefer a quieter, smaller breed of dog.
