Sprollie History

The Sprollie is a toy-sized, longhaired breed of cat originating in the Netherlands. The name “Sprollie” is derived from “sprookjes”, which is the Dutch word for “tails”. The Sprollie is a miniaturized version of the Dutch Munchkin (also called Korat), with an even shorter body, a flatter face, and longer, fluffier hair. The coat of the sprollie is thick and plush, with extremely long hair, which makes the cat look larger than it actually is. The coat is longer than a Munchkin’s, which is what makes it feel warmer to the touch. The sprollie is playful and affectionate, as well as highly inquisitive. The sprollie is also intelligent, curious, and mischievous, and quite capable of amusing itself. The sprollie is lively and very vocal, and is very fond of attention. The sprollie is reserved with strangers, but will warm up to them in time.
